Carole Nash, one of UK and Ireland’s leading motorcycle insurance brokers, is pleased to be partnering with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to hold an event dedicated to bike security, showcasing their unique award-winning security product, DNA+.
DNA+ is a sophisticated forensic protection system which bike owners can apply to their bike to leave an invisible unique mark. If the bike is stolen, the police are equipped to identify the bike and return it to the owner via the DNA+ system.

The Carole Nash team will be conducting a live demonstration of the product at the Ace Cafe in London, a popular biking haunt on Friday 5 August, from 6 – 9pm.
Officers from the MPS will also be sharing tips on how to keep a motorcycle or moped safe as well as crime prevention advice.
Detective Superintendent Raffaele D’Orsi, said: “Today’s event demonstrates the commitment of motorcycle enthusiasts, industry and the police to innovatively tackle theft of motorcycles and mopeds. The use of DNA+ will enhance protection as well as the potential for detection.
“I am proud of the team’s involvement in the project, helping to combat this type of crime at this event and to promote this tactic.”
Rebecca Donohue, Head of Marketing at Carole Nash, said: “We’re really pleased to be hosting this event alongside the Metropolitan police to raise awareness of the prevalence of bike theft. Unfortunately it’s something which is rife, particularly in London, so we’re looking forward to showing bikers how our sophisticated DNA+ system can help to keep bikes safe.
“All are welcome at the event so we encourage all those who are nearby or available to drop in to see a DNA+ demonstration and to get hold of a complimentary goody bag!”
For all attendees, there will be complimentary goody bags and refreshments.
