If you’re a female rider looking for a jacket that doesn’t compromise on safety or style, this is the one for you, as Tucano Urbano prides itself on combining suave Italian tailoring with practical safety details. This jacket has nice features like reflective detailing on the wrists and neck which fold away, giving you visibility on demand. With armour at the elbows and shoulders and pocket for a back protector this classic-styled short jacket doesn’t compromise on safety or style. I found TU’s sizing very good and the fitting adjustments enabled me to find a comfortable fit.

After several weeks of wearing, this jacket has become a firm summer wear favourite. I found the breathability on hotter days was good and on more showery days it kept me dry and comfortable having a waterproof zip and being totally windproof. The zip-up pockets made sure I never lost anything and it has a good size inner mobile phone pocket. All-in-all, this jacket is definitely worth the money.
